2022-06-27 08:53:19 Had another great Triangle Monthly Gaming Meetup this past Saturday at Antioch Raleigh!
Among all that happened, lots of Melee was played as usual, and lots of Donner Dinner Party. Sell Outs was again exceedingly boss, and a first-time-attendee Jeff brought a Sega Saturn setup with a realtime Worms-ish homebrew game that was bonkers. Thanks to Zach Roberson for his spongebob TV donation. I had my old sorry-looking apex one too. Cozzi brought some pizzas and sodas early but we still got a traditional checkers pizza order as well. Also wanted to note that Cozzi and I took Super Mario Bros 1 to school while he was on a video call.
Looking like next time we might have a multiplayer handheld session (maybe GBA and DS; thanks Jeff for bringing the GBAs) and a PC LAN area with some classics (Quakeworld? CS 1.6?)... See you next time, July 23rd (Saturday) 1pm-9pm at Antioch Raleigh!
